Resumo

Repórteres de TV trabalham na rua para transformar os acontecimentos em notícia. Eles saem em busca de informações, imagens e sons. Na “lei” do jornalismo de televisão quanto melhores as imagens captadas pelas lentes da câmera, melhor a reportagem. O Brasil está num período de transição da TV analógica para a TV digital. Esse trabalho objetiva entender o ganho de qualidade de imagem na TV digital, em comparação com o sistema analógico, e como isso pode influenciar no trabalho das equipes de reportagem de televisão fora das redações. O artigo é baseado em revisão bibliográfica sobre a imagem na TV digital, a construção da realidade por meio da televisão e o significado das imagens à luz da semiótica. Esse estudo é parte da pesquisa de mestrado sobre a TV digital e as mudanças no processo de produção de notícias.

 

Abstract

TV reporters working on the street to turn events in news. They are looking for information, images and sounds. In the "law" of television journalism as best images captured by the camera lens, the better the story. Brazil is in a period of transition from analog TV to digital TV. This study aims to understand the gain of image quality in digital TV, compared with the analog system, and how this can influence the work of television crews outside the newsroom. The article is based on literature review about the image in digital TV, the construction of reality through television and the meaning of the images in the light of semiotics. This study is part of the master's research on digital TV and changes in the process of news production.
